So great to see all who could attend the Q&A yesterday. We talked about an article I found fascinating that helps to explain why women are so attuned to the internal states of oneself or others. Almost all of you who I have worked with have asked:
"How come I can so clearly see that the past is showing up in the present and how can my husband have no recognition?"
"Why can I so clear read my husbands moods, but he can read my words, tone and facial expressions so wrong?"
"Why is my husband so resistant to therapy?"
We as women have been biologically and socially conditioned for heightened attunement, and men are conditioned for the opposite. That's for men without trauma. For men with trauma, it's even more confusing and messed up.
